Certain hair products like ointments and gels can make acne worse. So if you have acne on your forehead and tend to use a lot of hair products, you should avoid them.
The headbands that cover the forehead can also stimulate acne by keeping sweat in place.
6. Shower and wash your face immediately after your workout.
Sweat sticks to your face and may contain bacteria that cause acne.
For back and chest acne, try washing your benzoyl peroxide in the shower.
Remember: peroxide can lighten the sheets. Therefore, use white towels and washcloths and make sure you are completely dry before putting them on.
7. Apply an oil-free, water-based make-up.
Make-up has long been the means to cover up blemishes. But be careful: it could make your breakouts worse. Heavy and fatty products with cocoa butter, mineral oil or cold cream can make Combat acne worse.
